Ramachandra Educational Trust (RET) with a vision to be a pioneer in providing quality medical education and health care to the people in rural areas established Sri Venkateshwaraa Medical College Hospital and Research Centre in the year 2007 in the Union Territory of Puducherry and subsequently Dental, Nursing, Pharmacy, Paramedical Sciences and Engineering colleges, as a cluster of institutions, were established with the exquisite aim of spreading quality education in health care management and technology.

   With decades of experience in all domains of education, Ramachandra Educational Trust proposes to establish SHRI VENKATESHWARA VIDYAPEETH as a Deemed to be University with the objectives of engaging in Inter-disciplinary, Multi-disciplinary and Trans-disciplinary teaching with focus on research and innovation to bridge the gap between academia, society and research. Shri Venkateshwara Vidyapeeth innovative curriculum would contribute to social transformation, explore frontier areas of higher research, greater industry-academic linkages, with measures to promote unique capabilities of each student towards holistic development.
